Leon Melnitsky

MSW, LCSW | Founder

Leon Melnitsky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through emotional and mental-health challenges. His own healing journey inspired him to dedicate his career to helping others feel understood, supported, and empowered. Throughout his professional work, Leon has overseen mental-health programs, guided clients through complex life stressors, and provided training for other mental-health professionals. He founded Official Pets to create a clearer, more compassionate pathway for people to connect with independent Licensed Healthcare Providers for ESA and PSD evaluations. Leon is committed to ensuring that every client feels cared for, informed, and supported throughout their experience.

Travis S. Gray

MA, LMHC, CAP, ICADC | Licensed Therapist

Travis S. Gray is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over ten years of experience in the helping profession, specializing in trauma resolution and helping others come to a place of higher consciousness. As the owner of his own therapy practice, Travis has developed the Comprehensive Emotional Memory Assessment, a diagnostic tool that helps clients uncover the root causes of their mental health challenges and addictions. Travis incorporates Emotional Support Animal Interventions into his practice, witnessing firsthand the profound impact these animals can have on the healing process. A Veteran of the US Navy, he is also culturally competent and fluent in Spanish, enabling him to connect with a diverse range of clients.

Gabriela Jardines

LMHC | Licensed Therapist

Gabriela Jardines is a licensed mental health therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s most challenging moments. She holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling from St. Thomas University. With extensive experience in supporting clients through trauma, grief, and loss, she employs a compassionate, evidence-based approach that honors each person’s unique journey and emotional needs. Gabriela believes that healing begins in a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly heard and understood. Whether assisting individuals in coping with the aftermath of a traumatic experience, mourning a significant loss, or navigating life’s transitions, she walks alongside them with empathy and clarity. Additionally, Gabriela specializes in Emotional Support Animal-Assisted Therapy, skillfully incorporating this approach into her clients' treatment to enhance their recovery journey. Her goal is to empower clients to reclaim their sense of peace, purpose, and inner strength, one step at a time.

Theresa Broms

FNP-C | Nurse Practitioner

Theresa is a licensed and certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her master’s degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 1997 and completed additional post-master’s education in neuropsychiatry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2002. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Theresa has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric conditions within primary care settings. Passionate about holistic care, she skillfully integrates Animal-Assisted Therapy into her practice, using the therapeutic benefits of human-animal bonds to enhance her clients’ emotional and mental well-being. Theresa believes in fostering a supportive and empathetic environment, empowering her clients to thrive.
